It has been a long time. How are you?
The weather here in Singapore is rather cooling. It has been raining.
Now in Korea, it is getting cold. Winter is approaching.
Wherever you are, please take care of yourselves.
I am sorry for not updating for long. Been busy.
Nevertheless, I shall share about a place I went in 2012.
Fans of Running Man and SONE, here is the place!
Gyeonggi, Paju English Village as filmed in Running Man episode 64 with SNSD!
Gyeonggi is South Korea 3rd largest city. It is near to Incheon and Seoul. And Paju is the most visited place for Tourist. Popular area includes Hyeri Art Valley, Paju Premium Outlet and Paju English Village.
Gyeonggi English Villages are for the residents of Gyeonggi Province and the Republic of Korea to experience the English language and the cultures of English-speaking countries. It is our intent to provide strong support for the public and private English education system of Gyeonggi Province and for Korea as a whole. In addition to learning and studying the international language, we want to instill in students a better sense of their role in the global community.
In the English Village, the students are supposed to speak ONLY ENGLISH while ordering for food or conversing with friends. All menus are only in English. A good practice for them! ^^
Directions from Seoul
Since I stayed in Sinchon, here is how I get to the English Village.
Total journey take about 1 hour.
1) Sinchon (line 2) - Hapjeong (line 2/6) --> 2 stops away
2) Take Exit 2 from Hapjeong Station
3) Take bus #2200 (Red colour) --> there's always a queue for this bus
Love,
Shasha
