Places to go in Daegu

Now, i am going to highlight some places you may want to visit in Daegu. Daegu is s a city in South Korea, the fourth largest after Seoul, Busan, and Incheon. It is 38 to 44 minutes from Busan and 1 hour and 40 minutes from Seoul via KTX.

1) Duryu Park
Direction: Metro Line 2, Duryu Station, Exit 14

Daegu Duryu Park was built near Duryusan and Geumbongsan mountains in 1977. The park is home to Daegu Tower (the tallest observation tower in Korea), Ubang Tower Land, Daegu Culture and Arts Center, and numerous other cultural and leisure facilities. The park is a favorite relaxation spot for many Daegu citizens.

2) Jungangno Station - Shopping Street
Another place you can shop in Daegu is around Jungangno Station which is known as Daegu Shopping Street. Just like Myeongdong, it's a main street in Daegu.

Direction: Metro Line 1/2 Jungangro Station (중안로 역), Exit 2

3) Suseong Lake (수성못)
Another place in Daegu you may want to visit is Suseong Lake (수성못). There is also water light show at night. Unfortunately there wasn't any in April when I was there.

Direction: Take a bus 401 0r 410 to Suseong Land (수성랜드)

You can walk around the lake for a pleasant stroll and even climb inside a real-life aeroplane that now serves as a cafe. Surprisingly it is quite crowded at night with people going for a night walk with their dogs too. ^^
